The nature-inspired veneers Wooclé and Peacock follow a typical approach at GamFratesi: they meld innovation and tradition. Wooclé comes in two colour variants. Its design is rooted in the wish to bring depth and texture to the flat surface, making for a full visual experience. Peacock takes its cue from the complex structures found in the arboreal world: bark, leaves and wood. Although the pattern is abstract, it preserves its legibility as wood. Peacock comes in two variants. The veneers Rain and Cloudy by GamFratesi are impressions of weather phenomena, channelled through the Japanese art-form ukiyo-e. The light-handed deftness of Cloudy is based on the beauty and fugacity of clouds, rendered in contrasting tones. As for Rain, its impalpable lightness is captured in stylised raindrops, making for a dreamy, captivating effect.
