The collaboration between ALPI and Elle Decor continues in the new exhibition project “Elle Decor at Work. The Evolution of Workspace " focused on the new working environement needs and spaces that are increasingly interconnected and constantly changing.
An immersive exhibition-installation about a very topical and socio-cultural subject, curated by Elle Decor Italia, DWA Studio, AKQA, and Marco Bay, which proposes new scenarios and design solutions for contemporary working habitats.
ALPI woods have been chosen to cover the vertical surfaces of some areas of the exhibition: the ALPI Rain 1 decoration designed by GamFratesi will embellish the “The Club” space of the large “The exchange” salon with a graphic motif on a gray background, inspired by the impalpability and lightness of rain.
For the “The Nap Bar” area, dedicated to regeneration and rest, the architects chose the strength of ALPI Poitillisme Col. Colors, a collection designed by Atelier Mendini with Alex Mocika, re-edition of the first wood made by ALPI for Atelier Mendini in 1991. Polychrome dots and hints of pointillism have been reproduced in the ALPI wood, a product of the company’s sartorial culture which enabled this design to be realized preserving its powdery and intangible character.
