ALPILIGNUM at “TRANSITIONS” EXHIBITION

The ALPI wood in the ALPIlignum versions was chosen by the OS & OOS Dutch designers to realize one of the products shown in the “Transitions” exhibition, promoted by Baars&Bloemhoof, during the Fuorisalone in the Ventura Lambrate district. Perfect blend of technological innovation and artisan know-how ALPIlignum, thanks to its massive personalization potential, the great aesthetic variety and the chance to reproduce the colours and veins of natural woods, completely fulfilled the designers creative requirements who took advantage of this characteristics to express the multi-functionality concept, essence of their Otto table.
“We came up with the idea of using the ALPI wood for one of the most commonly used pieces of furniture, the table, where people eat, talk and work. The tabletops of our work feature a different veneer on each side, which can be flipped for ever changing occasions. For us the different colours and surface types have specific relations to the sort activity that the table is being used for”.
