This year ALPI becomes the Main Sponsor of the new project-installation Elle Decor Grand Hotel – Invisible Rooms created by the international studio Neri&Hu. The project takes its cue from the theme of travel and discovery, the leitmotif of the novel Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino, as an opportunity for Neri&Hu to recreate an imaginary world inside a historic building in Milan, with the aim of astonishing 21st-century travelers thanks to a narrative that unfolds through the functions of the various spaces on the level of design and visual engagement. From the lounge-forest to the restaurant-nave for an ideal collective banquet, from the voyeur-bedroom to the self-portrait-library of the collector, all the way to the courtyard in which to rediscover the sky and the memory of the city. Wood products from the ALPI Xilo 2.0 collection have been selected for several of the spaces, including Le città e il desiderio / Restaurant (Xilo 2.0 3-Flamed Black) Le città e gli scambi / Store (Xilo 2.0_Walnut 2 Flamed).
The restaurant is open to the public every day (12.00-15.00) or for private dinner-events (20.00-23.00). The outdoor cafe is open daily from 10.00 to 21.00
