ALPI@BDNY 2026
ALPI, whose continuous research on wood surfaces is led by in-depth knowledge of the material and an appreciation of design culture, will be presenting recent products at Boutique Design New York (BDNY), a trade fair for boutique hotel design hosted at the Javits Convention Center in New York City on 8 and 9 November 2026.
New items in the ALPIlignum Collection are veneers by Piero Lissoni and the studio Yabu Pushelberg – interpretations that follow different approaches. ALPI Aurora and ALPI Birch are Yabu Pushelberg's exploration of chromatic perception for surfaces where colour and grain build distinct identities. Piero Lissoni's studies of natural wood species has led to ALPI Xilo Acacia, whose special heat process emphasises tonal depth, and ALPI Microline, whose texture of ultrathin lines comes in seven colour variations.
In addition to the new veneer collections, the ALPIready range of prefinished wood surfaces has been expanded with the options ALPI Xilo Acacia Planked, ALPI Agreste Ouro, ALPI California Burl and ALPI Xilo Ice in the versions Striped, Flamed and Frisé. ALPIready eliminates time spent on varnishing, because it comes ready to be affixed.
The entire ALPIlignum Collection is available with IMO-MED certification, the European Union directive for the safety of maritime products. The Collection is certified FSC® 100% (license number FSC-C004666) thanks to direct control of the supply chain.
